Applications Invited for Two PhD Studentships in FEMDEM Modelling
FEMDEM developments (Feb 2010)
A further enhancement for users of the 2D code has been added, enabling either plane stress or plane strain conditions to be modelled. The 3D silo-filling simulation on this site shows clearly the dissipation of energy by friction. A velocity and pressure-dependent friction model was recently implemented in the 3D code.
